Panels – in a nut shell.

What is a Panel – The Banners Broker website state “A Panel is a visual representation of your advertisement spot.  It shows your earnings from your rented advertisement spot.”  I think of it as a bit of internet real estate, while you own it, Banners Broker let it to advertisers while you are paid rent, when the panel caps you get two new panels and 2 new tenants (advertisers), unless you chose to bank 50%.

Panels come in different colours and values.

They take varying days to cap, with the yellow taking the shortest time at around 25 days and, from my experience, the green an average of 65 days.  I have not yet had a red cap, and my goal is to have a black cap.  There is no set time for the panels to cap, I am quoting these timescales from the average taken from the panels I have capped.  My big plan, for my retirement is to be in the position when I have a black panel, or the equivalent in minor panels cap once a month.  That would make a monthly income of $1200.

Right, so let’s go back to the beginning again, you will have noticed the forth column mentions traffic, that is a topic on its own, and I will post in detail about traffic at a later date.

You have bought your first package and you have a bunch of panels, dependant on the package you bought.  You will not need any traffic to qualify these panels as they will be qualified complimentary by Banners Broker, neither will you need traffic for the children of these panels, so make sure you take full advantage and have your first 2 panels of each colours set at 100%.  Further panels will need traffic, and I will explain traffic later.

My top tip at this point it to start a traffic pack subscription, although you won’t need traffic for at least 60 days until your first yellow is a grandparent. Here is my reasoning:
Banners Broker membership fees are $15.00 per month and as a standard member and you can have one traffic subscription.  In a few months down the line when you need traffic, you will want to purchase more than one traffic subscription which will take you up to a premium membership which is $100 per month.  But if you have traffic in the bank, you can delay premium membership and the need for 2 traffic packs for a little bit longer.

So, your third generation of yellow panels are awaiting qualification, each panel will need 5000 traffic hits.  So if you have been thinking ahead and you already have traffic in the back you will be able to qualify the panel and it will began earning for you until it has doubled in value. Every time you qualify a panel you can collect the impressions, click on the button and they will go into your impression bank.  Impressions and Campaigns will follow later posts.

Now here is where it really gets fun, to me it’s like a game like Farmville and the like, it’s all strategy and planning your resources.  I love watching the earnings total go up and set myself little missions.  You take an active role in your account and choose different reactions to enable maximum profits according to your planned strategies similar to an on-line game, but with real-time monetary benefits. When you have more panels you have to decide whether to Roll Up minor panels to the colour above, or qualify them as they are.  How much traffic you have allocated to each colour is something else to consider. There are many variables, options and opportunities, but i will go into more detail in later posts.

A Roll Up involves 3 panels of the same colour rolled up to the colour above, bearing in mind a higher value colour is better value, but it is useful to have some yellows and purples cap on a regular basis at 50% to cover your fees.

This about covers panels - you purchase them, you qualify them with traffic, then you monitor them until they are due to cap and then you decide whether you want 50%  of the cash, or 2 more panels.

Banners Broker - My History To Date.

On 16 May 2012 I was introduced to Banners Broker and bought my first panels in the form of a green package for $415.00 which included the monthly fee of $15.00.  My green package consisted of one yellow panel, one purple panel, one blue panel and one green panel.  A panel receives traffic hits which equates to earnings and when the panel has received double its value in earnings, it caps and dependant on the settings you have applied to the panel you either keep 100% of the earnings, or 50%.  The first panels you receive are qualified as complementary, as are the next cycle of panels they create.

By 2 July 2012 my earnings had more than doubled to $867.68.  6 yellows had capped and a purple had capped and I still had my initial blue and green and 4 purples working away.

On 9 August 2012 my earnings value was $2022.43, my initial green and blues had capped and doubled up into two more that had been qualified complimentary, my yellows were capping at an average of every 28 days and the purple were capping at an average of 46 days.

On 7 September 2012 I had breached the $3000 in earnings and my live panels were 2 green panels, 3 blues 2 purples and 4 yellow panels busily working to earn me more money.

22 October 2012 saw the next hurdle of $4000, so in 45 days, my earnings figure had jumped a phenomenal $1000.

10 November 2012 brought about a $5000 earnings figure so in 18 days, another grand.  Thank you very much Banners Broker.

30 November 2012 was the day, after a blue and a purple capped, my earnings became a merry $6000.

21 December 2012, $7000 was top of the bill.
$8000 was my magic figure on 11 January 2013.

11 February 2013 earnings total = $9000.

On 18 February I bought a red panel using panels rolled up from my current panels a red panel value is $810.00 and when it caps it will be valued at $1620.00, I can then choose to have two red panels (100% setting) or have one red panel start earning and add $810.00 to my Ewallet for either withdrawal or future payments of annual fees etc.

So..you have seen how quick the earnings grow, and the earnings represent the value of capped panels.

To summarise, the Banners Broker affiliate business, use my invitation below to register for an Ad Pub Combo account, as an affiliate you are able to purchase a package which contains panels which are like a bill board on the internet.  Banners Broker will broker your Ad space and place adverts and the revenue they receive from these ads they will filter back to you as a 'landlord' of a bit of internet real estate. There is more to running your account, but I will go into this in further posts.
If I was to go back to beginning and implement what I have learned .... the more panels you have, the more often you will have one cap, hence the more often you have a pay out.  The higher value the panel, takes longer to cap, but not as long as the equivalent amount of lower value panels, so value for money, the higher value panels are the better purchase. If I had a do over, I would have bought a bigger package, although, I am building up nicely now.  I am putting all I can back into pot, leaving enough available for fees and traffic packs.

USS George H W Bush

Hi, I wanted to publish these pics but not clog up my bee blog, so I have started an off topic thread.  Walking the dog on Stokes Bay this morning and this is what we saw.  It looks pretty awesome from our side.  The Isle of Wight is just in the back ground.

"The world's most powerful warship has arrived in the Solent.

The USS George H W Bush has dropped anchor in Stokes Bay off Gosport, as it's too big to fit in Portsmouth Harbour.  The ship and crew have been taking part in a training exercise with the Royal Navy.  With up to 6,000 American sailors set to descend on Portsmouth this bank holiday weekend."

"The new carrier is powered by two nuclear reactors that can keep it operating for 20 years without refueling. It’s capable of carrying more than 80 aircraft and can reach top speeds of 30 knots during its estimated 50-year service life."
Its a floating village! Hearing about how the Americans Services normally set up their overseas bases, do you think there is a Krispy Creme and Pizza Hut on board?

To make our walk even more fun, they were kind enough to play the National Anthem and the Star Spangled Banner for us while we walked.  Either that or it was for the visitors on the white ship drawing up next to them.
